Air print

Ok so i got to get a new printer for the family. I got the IPHONE 4 and my ipad and my macbook. But the rest of the family has windows crap. so i really want to get an hp that has the air print but not sure what one can anybody help ?

I googled your question and got this as a first hit... these will all work with Air Print.

To me, it's sort of silly for Apple to implement this feature, and then limit it to a very specific list of HP wireless printers. Seems like they should offer a print server app to run on the PC/Mac to allow this functionality for other printers.

Luckily for us, a 3rd party has come up with just this type of software:

I haven't tried it yet, but cnet is a trustworthy source. I'm thinking that with a service such as dynDNS and port forwarding, you could probably even use it to print while away from your home network, so long as you leave your PC on.

you can get apps in the app store that make it work with other printers, for example epson
