A question about the following

Good Morning/Afternoon To The Assembled Multitude,

I have a question regarding icons that I'm hoping someone here might be able to help me with. I would like to change/replace the iPhone icons that originally came with the phone, as I think they are cartoonish/cheesy-looking. I was checkig out some ideas on youtube and was wondering if there was a way to do this with an app, or would the phone have to be jailbroken in order to acheive this? Many thanks.

You need a jailbroken iphone to be able to change app icons.
