Just got our new iphones the other day. I travelled around the Atlanta metro area all day on Thursday and never once did I see my 4S pick up the 4G....only remained on the 3G all day. All we get where we live is the Edge network, so wanted to see how much better the 4G was.

Anyone else in the area experiencing this or something I don't know?

I have bad news for you. The iPhone 4S on AT&T is NOT a LTE (sometimes mistakenly called 4G) phone. It does have the higher end version of HSPA called HSPA+. The iPhone 4S will only register that as a 3G signal. Because technically that is what it really is.

How will be displayed on the iPhone's screen this 4G or LTE ?
Will u post a screenshot please with it ?

Many thanks
