Whats the difference between 2nd and 3rd gen on iPod touch?

Example what does 3rd generation ipod touch have that 2nd doesn't ?

The 2g can only access Internet via wifi. It doesn't have any configuration for edge or GPRS. The 2g can not mms and is actually very limited in the domain of application supporting it. The 3G can EDGE GPRS and mms and is also start having limitation in the domain of supported apps. That's just what I think is the differences, I think that there are many other differences.

Whats the difference between 2nd and 3rd gen on iPod touch?

I have an old 2g which we just sold. It had no external speakers which I found annoying because you always had to where headphones even to play games.
