Question about 4 to 4S

Have the 4, getting the 4S tomorrow. My question is, when I get the 4S and plug it into iTunes, will my contacts/apps transfer to it or will I have to start all over downloading apps, etc.?

My only experience was syncing iTunes with my daughter's replacement iPod Touch. Everything tranferred over without any issues. I assume the iPhone is the same. I will get to test this again as my daughter's iPod just went through a wash cycle. Dam kids.

Short answer yes or no.

Long answer yes, if you restore your backup, no if you don't.

Yes it Will only if you first back up Youre 4 then install phone back up! Dont chose new phone!

itunes will ask if you want to restore to a backup of your 4 or setup as a new device... simples

Plug your old phone in with itunes, right click the idevice on the left drop down and click back up

plug your new phone in with itunes and it will ask if you want to back up using an old back up.. click the one you just done..
