can i make iphone 4 sim free

Hi to all here this is my first post and im just wondering can i make my iphone 4 sim free ie use any sim card after i have jailbroken it is there a guide just for this method,all i want to do is use any sim card in it im not bothered about anything else any help cheers

Depends on the specs on your iPhone 4. There's really only 3 conditions:

Condition1:

• iOS: Any that's jailbreakable
• Baseband/Modem Firmware: MUST BE 01.59.00
• Method of Unlocking: UltraSn0w through Cydia

Condition2:

• iOS: 5.1.1 or below that's jailbreakable
• Baseband: MUST BE 01.59.00, 02.10.04, 03.10.01, OR 04.10.01
• Method of Unlocking: Gevey SIM Interposer

Condition3:

• iOS: Any; device does not have to be jailbroken
• Baseband: Any baseband
• Method of Unlocking: IMEI unlock
  • Restriction: Not all countries have IMEI unlocks available. Some countries have them available only through the original carriers and some countries like Japan do not have them at all

[Software]

If you're out of contract with your carrier ask for a IMEI unlock and if not, flash onto the iPad baseband and there after download Ultrasn0w onto your device.

The iPad baseband only works with iPhone 3GS the OP has an iPhone 4..

01.59.00 is the only iPhone 4 baseband that'll work with UltraSn0w
