    Unhappy Unlock iPhone 4?

    I have no idea if I can use my iPhone in the US.
    I live in Taiwan and bought the phone there. I'm going to stay in US for a while and I bought a pre-paid sim card for myself. It starts for one month the second I put it in my phone, so I can't test it beforehand. Can anyone teach me how to find out if a iPhone is unlocked or not? I guess it probably isn't, so how can I unlock it?

    Tell us what you're baseband is. Settings>General>About>Modem Firmware
    White iPhone5(CDMA) - iOS 6.1.2 - Jailbroken with Evasi0n 1.5

    It says Modern Firmware if thats the same thing. Its 04.12.01.

    That cannot be unlocked. You might want to call you provider and ask about a carrier unlock

    As i said, there is no way to unlock that baseband. Call 3 and ask for an imei unlock. If they dont do that, you cannot use your phone on a different carrier.
