    Just got scammed, any help from you guys

    I was stupid and thought a site could help me unlock my Iphone 4. I brought this as it was stated as unlocked to all networks, Now I have it and my Orange Uk Sim card, I find out its locked.

    Version 5.1.1

    Modem Firmware 04.12.01

    Is there away of unlocking this phone. Any Help would be great

    Unfortunately there is currently no way to unlock that baseband. Never pay for a jailbreak or unlock, all jailbreaking and unlocking tools are released 100% free. The only time you should ever pay for an unlock is if you are paying the carrier to unlock it.

    I wish the devs could come up with a more secure way to stop these people from scamming every one but the scammers make so much money from it.. the best thing you can do is try get a refund (I doubt they will even reply to you now) then try go to orange and get it permenantly unlocked, I know most carriers in the uk do that and some for a small fee but it will mean you never have to worry about upgrading firmware
