News that iOS 4.2 was supposed to release today with iTunes 10.1 but was delayed until late November. iTunes 10.1 is safe to update to if you are Jailbroken and doesn't effect your device in any way. To later update to iOS 4.2 you will need iTunes 10.1. If you want/have a Jailbroken device, please remember to wait until there is a Jailbreak for released for 4.2. Stay where you are if you want to keep your Jailbreak. Cydia has been updated to 4.2 and should be ready soon.
