Some hot news from Rovio’s latest game – the free version of Amazing Alex has just been officially launched for iOS devices. Users can purchase the paid game via the App Store for $0.99.
Amazing Alex is a game dedicated to science lovers and has been created by Noel Llopis (Snappy Touch) and Miguel Angel Friginal (Mystery Coconut). The game revolves around the main character Alex, who is a curios boy and has an interest in building things. In order to complete the tasks in the game, users must manipulate objects according to the laws of physics so the game has an educational impact.
“Meet Amazing Alex! This whiz kid has a boundless imagination and a houseful of fun toys that can turn anything into an adventure!
From cleaning up his room to battling cardboard robots in his backyard, Alex creates amazing chain reactions to get the job done with the maximum amount of fun! Now, he has some challenges for you -- and he wants to see the most creative solutions YOU can create!”
Amazing Alex comes packed with 100 levels and 35 different objects which you will need in order to finish the game. The game, however, wasn’t cooked up in Rovio’s development labs, but the idea for it was purchased from the Casey Contraptions back in May.
A free Android version of the game has also been released and in the future, we will see a free Amazing Alex variant for Windows Phone.
