Engadget reports today that Digg has just revamped its iOS app, which ties in nicely with its recent, and very smart, site redesign. Digg has just been bought by New York’s Betaworks for just $500,000, according to Engadget, so maybe the makeover has something to do with the change. Whatever the reason, both site and app look good. The app now has a similar black-and-white look to the web page, but the improvements are not just cosmetic, as Engadget writes that the updated app has several new, and very useful features. For example, the app now has offline reading, as well as Facebook and Twitter integration, and, most interestingly of all, the new “Paperboy” feature, which, once you set it up, will recognise when you are at home, and will then ensure that you never leave home with old news. You’ll have to ensure that you connect your Facebook account to a bookmark and share between your iPhone and the homepage for this to happen though.
