Loading sorces in cydia

So heres what im up against

ssn ***015********
3GS
baseband: 05.16.05
IOS: 5.1.1

Jail broken: with Absynthe
cydia: loaded

when i try to load the ultrasn0w fix 5.1.1
and load the fix http://repo.iparelhos.com i get a error when its loading

Sub-process gzip returned an error code (1)

Failed to fetch
http://repo.iparelhos.com/./Packages.gz Sub-process gzip returned and error code (1)

Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.


There it is..... A) what the heck does that mean + how do i fix it so i can load this source so i can get this patch to work and my phone back recieving signal.
any help would be awesome!

Well firstly your baseband is not compatible with Ultrasn0w. You will first need to install the iPad baseband if you want to unlock. Secondly, the Ultrasn0w fixer is no longer needed since Ultrasn0w was updated to 1.2.7 for 5.1.1 support. All you need to do is install ultrasn0w after you have installed the iPad baseband in order to unlock.

Actually you should stay away from absinthe if you rely on an unlock. You should be running Redsn0w and then Ultrasnow, like noted the ultra snow fixed is not needed after using ultrasnow.


Also like noted you would need to install the ipad baseband, but i warn that you will never be able to go back to an iphone baseband ever and you could also lose your GPS from working.
