About LinkBacksHi,
I have an iphone 4 which does not jailbreak. When ever i try to put it in dfu mode it give an message "USB device not recognized". I am not sure which FW/BB it is on.
I have tried different cable, laptop and still same problem. Also i dont think its the connection port on iphone which is bad because it charges.
Do u think its bricked?

Do you have iTunes installed? It sounds like the mobile device driver is not installed or is corrupt.

Still same problem iphone not being detected. Even not showing up on iTunes.

I solved that one as follows.
Delete everything that has to do with Apple software. Also go to registry and also delete everything starting with Apple.
Install fresh newest iTunes version. After install, go to services, if AppleMobileDevice is installed, your iPhone will connect.- Share
