About LinkBacksSo I just did the absinthe iOS 5.1.1 jailbreak and followed the directions step by step. After restoring everything from my backup that I did prior, I clicked on the cydia icon to install it. After installing cydia, pretty much all my stock apps where gone, just not there. No phone, settings, mail, text, weather etc.
Anybody else run into this? I tried restoring with my backup again and everything was still missing. So now Im about to do a full restore back to factory settings and start the whole process over. Any advice or help would be great. I'm leaving for LA in the morning for work, so Id like to have my phone working haha.

I dont have the 'Settings' Icon. Like I said, most of the stock icons are completely gone

You can search for it in spotlight and then reset the homescreen layout.

Maybe try tap and hold on any visible icons to enter edit mode for a few seconds. Then press home button to exit
