A few additional things to add to "#10 - Earbud Cord Switch" during music playback

• Double-click = skip forward (as stated)
• Triple-click = skip backwards
• click-then-hold = speed forwards
• double-click then hold = speed backwards
• Hold (2s) = activate Siri.. which is very standard I know, but Siri can then access your music to change album, e.g. "Play Linkin Park"

#4 - Hide SMS preview
With Show SMS Preview disabled you will only get a generic "New Text Message Notification".
Go to "General -> Messages and disable "Show SMS Preview".



how do you do this on an iPhone 4s with iOS 5?

I am getting 2 notifications with texts. I tried the suggestions notifications never repeat. That didn't work. I have the standard bell notification, and it rings twice with less then a second between the bells. It is really strange. I am new to the forum, glad I could find a place to get answers!!!

There is no select all. You need to drag the blue dots at the beginning and end of the highlighted text. Zoom out to make things easier...

I often wondered if selecting "in a paragraph that seems to only let one select only one word. Thank you for the blue dot tip. I often saw the blue dot but did not knot what it is for.
