    iPhone 4 not syncing

I had a friend install the iphone 5 software on my iphone 4. I installed itunes 10.5 and now, when I try to sync, itunes sees the phone but i get a message stating that ath.exe has stopped working and the sync will not occur. Nothing else happens. Itunes stays open and I can tab around, but no sync.

You are using the wrong version of iTunes. If you are using iOS 5 Beta 4 you need to be using iTunes 10.5 Beta 4. iOS 5 Beta 2 is NOT compatible with iOS Beta 4 for example, and vise versa. If you are using iOS 5 Beta 4 the version of iTunes you need is 10.5.0.60. Just Google "iTunes 10.5 Beta 4 download". You will probably have a few that don't work but keep trying different ones.
