green screen after converted 3gp video

i used to have a blackberry bold (9700) and took loads of videos of the family with it, i have now gone to the iphone4 and have tried to convert the files.

i have tried numerous programs to convert them and have also tried converting them within itunes, every time i play them back the screen is very pixilated and green.

can anyone shed any light on to this and assist as i really dont want to lose them, cheers

best bet is to convert it to .mp4 not .3gp or use an app like cineXplayer/vlc for xvid files and other movie file types

and what are you using to convert? for mac use handbreak

Yeah, the better format is .MP4, not .3GP, Use Handbrake, and read this preset might do some help for better video quality: Handbrake Presets for iPhone 4 and iPad
