Last week, I upgraded my iphone to the latest 5.0 os that popped up on itunes when i synched; since that time, when I go to talk on my phone, it doesn't recognize that I'm talking, and my face is constantly activating different buttons on the screen/touchpad. I can't freaking talk on my phone unless I am on speakerphone and holding it away from my face. Anyone else experience this problem, and how do you think I should go about resolving the issue. Thanks for you "talk to me like I'm a 43yr old non-tech person" responses in advance. Eric.
Try a reset. Close all apps then - Hold down the HOME, bottom button, and the SLEEP, top button, for about 10 seconds until the Apple icon appears, then release buttons. Allow it to reboot, it may take a few minutes, don't panic like I did, wait for it to reboot. Cures many weird problems on iOS devices.
This started with the 5.0.1 upgrade/download. Hard reset has not helped. Is there any way to revert back to before the 5.0.1 download like a system restore option on a PC?
