About LinkBacksI've just downloaded a alarm clock app that you can leave on all night like a bedside alarm clock face.
As the screen is constantly lit (even the black background) can this damage the screen?

I think if anything, it'll suck down the juice on your battery a lot quicker. Unless it's plugged in at night.
As far as damaging the phone, it'll be like anything else I guess. Like leaving your TV on all the time maybe. Life expectancy more than likely will shorten.- Share

It will over time lose some brightness... But as far a actually damaging it no. I'm not a big fan of leaving it on 12hr at a time....
