Ditch my landline/dock for iphone to ampfify

I am getting rid of my landline and looking for a dock for my that will amplify the ring, so it can be heard around my house. Charging the phone at the same time would be cool. I do not need an alarm clock or stereo system. I have seen a few products, but thought I'd get some opinions from the iPhone fanatics... Anyone encounter this situation?

why not get something like this instead.... there are others but this is just an example. Your cellphone connects to the base unit via Bluetooth and then you can send a receive calls using a regular cordless handset.

Thanks Garrett... I had looked at this a while back, but not with quitting my landline in mind... So, I could use this without a landline, and it would just connect to my iPhone when I walked in the door via bluetooth? That's a great suggestion, as I now have 3 phones extensions in my house, and could do the same. Thank you, my problem may be solved.

theres a bunch of options both with phones built in and theres also ones that you can use any corded or cordless phone you want with .... just look around.
