yep these are both bluetooth systems
It has to do with certain signals going between the accessory and the phone
so you can adjust volume, use skip buttons, answer calls etc. It is needed to run some of the smaller BT stereo headphones. It was not on the previous iphones.
apple will never enable it, they have their songs on itunes they cant risk loss in sale due to every one sharing them with bluetooth
They won't be losing anything. I think what he is talking about is using the bluetooth headphones next track, pause controls to change tracks.
