I have to say, this looks very interesting, but in the youtube video - as a word of advice - the video appears choppy (though it isn't) but it appears so because of the player-controlled ship - it seems to skip around the screen as opposed to smoothly glide over it. perhaps you could film someone playing it on an ipad or use different software for recording the gameplay? At first I was like, "this looks laggy" and then I realized why. just a word of advice, imo.

I left a review. Is it me or the controls a bit choppy? The ship didn't smoothly follow my finger. Or maybe just me? Overall not bad. You should consider doing some type of weapon variety. The game needs something so it stands out a bit. Not sure what. But right now it's a decent shmup.

Also why not just make the ship shoot the drill as the bullet? Maybe the drill bit extends out as a super move? Though that would require some control changes.
