Picture syncing question.

Ok so I take a lot of pictures with my iPhone and I have run out of space pretty quickly, is there a way to sync all my photos with my computer and then delete the photos on my iPhone but keep the photos on my computer (to my knowledge itunes deletes the photos) and then update the computer when i sync with new photos. iCloud isn't an option.

Just wondering if anyone found out a way of doing this yet? Copying them out is a massive pain.

I went on my photos in itunes on the computer and it gives an option to click which photos or folders you want to sync and then just re sync the phone and it removes the photos you didnt click on and they are still in your computer.
