Like I have said to myself and many others, if your that hard up about BBM, first of all why would you switch before first investigating and secondly...its easy, SWITCH BACK!

You could always get whatsapp it's free on bb download but 59p on iPhone app store. It allows me to talk to both my Sis and dad who both have blackberrys.

AFAIK kik messenger isn't available for BB users anymore, they yanked it from appworld. Not sure if they ever restored it.

This is not possible nor will it ever BE possible.
All BBM traffic routes through RIM's servers in Waterloo, Ont (I have done work with them) and in order to route through them, you need a carrier account with a BB device.
Not going to happen so start using KIK Messenger now between friends!
