Hello,

Is there a way to disable/not show your phone number to a call recipient?

I could do this with my old Droid but not sure about the 4S.

Droid would simply insert *67 before the phone number

So you should be able to do it yourself or add it to the phone number in the contact. I believe you may have to do a *67,{number} if memory serves. The comma acts like a pause so the phone system will register the *67.

I believe your carrier can do it for you if you want your number totally blocked to all callers. My husband and his associates do not want their cell numbers showing for clients and they all have their numbers blocked. These clients are not in their contact list, so there must be a way to do it by the carrier.

I have the ATT 4s and that option is available. Maybe it is only available for GSM phones.
