8hrs can be achieved off a full charge, that's not counting trickle charges.
Your right it sure can but you cant go by what you say you got cuz your phone was plugged in during this cycle! Try again without plugging in during the discharge cycle and post another screen shot.

Normally when my phone is plugged in the battery stat resets to zero. What you saw was lengthy phone calls and music play. Maybe this is what your look for, a stat with a little heavy Internet use.

that's on really good battery you are having there.
If you're really just playing music or listening to the radio over wi-fi, your battery will last longer. However it got trickle charged while on the radio dock from 56% to 74% while playing the radio.

What about when you are reading a document or a book on your phone for an hour with brightness set to 30 or 40%? How is your battery doing? That's what I do on my phone 70% of the time, reading PDF docs files or books.

I can't say, I haven't done that much. I mostly read using my iPad 2.
Well, I was having more than acceptable battery life on my first 4s, but had to have it replaced because I decided to go for a different size. And now... 3 hours of use, 6 hours including standby and I'm down to 12%. I don't know about you, but I'm not okay with that.

I just got off the phone with Apple technical support. Those poor guys, some of those guys don't have a clue. There's no way you can use your phone lightly for two hours and be at 54%, unless you're playing hardcore games. I watched a 2 hour movie with battery life starting at 100%. After it was over the battery was at 74%.
I was reading about iOS 5.1 last night, hopefully it will put an end to the battery fluctuation.
