Why aren't their any photos of your wraps on white iPhones and iPads? I recently bought from your website, but it was difficult to decide whether I would like it on my white iPhone 4s and white iPad 2.

I assume this is because they were not released when the pictures where taken or they only could get hold of black ones near the release.

I currently have just a regular case for my iPhone. I am looking for something a little thinner and a little less bulky. I came across skinwraps, and it looks like a good product, especially after seeing all of the fantastic reviews. I see that it protects the phone against scratches which is good. However, how well does it protect against drops? I never drop my phone, but accidents do happen. Im not talking like a huge drop, but maybe anywhere from 2 to 4 foot drop.

Edit: I'm talking specifically for the carbon wraps.

Accidents do happen even to the most careful. That's just life. I have used the carbon fiber series, the wood series and the executive series from SlickWraps. I have also dropped my phone from chest-high while standing with each of the series I have mentioned. The wraps protect from scratches very well especially if you use a screen protector. Cracks or other damage to the phone is a different story. I believe that all depends upon the location of impact. I have dropped my phone onto the concrete sidewalk with no damage to the phone but the wrap was damaged. I rather a $15-20 wrap get damaged than my phone. I also dropped my phone onto a hardwood floor directly on the corner of the phone. I did get some damage to wrap and phone. The phone damage was cosmetic (a very minor chip in black molding.) That is just mentioning a couple of drops in a 9 month period. There were plenty more with no damage or scratches until I punted my phone into my locker 2 weeks ago. This was while I had wood wraps on the front and sides (with a screen protector) and a leather backing on the back. I managed to shatter the back glass. No damage to the wrap tho. Lol. I know some folks will say "bring it back to Apple. They will replace it as a one-time courtesy free of charge." I don't know if this is a fact but I rather replace the backing by ordering a $12 replacement from eBay and save my one-time courtesy screen replacement for the more expensive front screen if I ever damage that.

You must hold the world record for the amount of drops from the owner of an iPhone! I've had mine 8 months now and never dropped it once.

Thank you! Just the answer I was looking for!! When I had my old phone, I went 2 years without having a case on it. When I got my iPhone a couple weeks ago, I went to turn in my old phone and it only had a couple scratches and a tiny chip on the side. If I would have had at least a wrap on, I would have had no scratches and possibly no chips. And i didn't even get those from dropping the phone. I think I'll go with the carbon fiber wrap. Thanks!

I honestly think that it won't change too much and will basicly have the same look... I guess the only color that could be an exception is black

    Hi,

I really like your product. I live in Canada and was going to order the "gold" wood one today. The price was $20 plus $5 for the screen protector. I went to check out and the shipping cost was $20 so I decided not to order...is there a cheaper option?

Hi IMEK, We do have a $4.95 First Class International option. When checking out it's the first option under "Other Carriers".

Let us know if you need further help.

    Thank You!

    I disagree wholeheartedly

I love the LOOK of slickwraps, but they do (at least the one I have) leave an awful sticky residue. I just pulled off the one that glows and I have so much sticky stuff on the sides that I can't figure out how to get it off. I've tried using duct tape to pull it off as well as a cleaner. I can't even get it off with friction. I don't know how I'm going to get it off. It might be a good product for people who don't like to change skins or cases ever, but it hasn't been a good one for me. I essentially wasted $30, because I now can't reapply it. It also seems to get dirty pretty easily. I love the look at the glowing in the dark, but the adhesive needs a lot of work.
