hi guys i want to connect my iphone 4 to my tv and found av cable but in discription say that is only for old apple devices will it work with iphone 4?

I know the tom-tom car kit for 3GS won't work on an iphone4. I would say you have about a 50/50 chance on the charger... Some really cheap chargers just don't supply the power needed for the newer apple devices.

I use the Apple Cables, http://store.apple.com/us/product/MB128LL/B?fnode=MTY1NDAzOQ&mco=MTA4NDc4Njc. Those cheep ebay ones don't even work on the 3G/3G's.

as a manufacturer of iPad and iPhone products i can reply you in fact the AV cable can work with iPhone but have lot of chance the charge will not work, this is due to the new Apple system for charge, lot of 3 party wont work even work with 3G , Apple have change their policy in that field, they want to help the supplier have made the effort to get the certification : work with Ipod/iphone

So i guess what you found in e-bay will not work perfectly

@danny , the Tom Tom work is just the shape is not adapted for the iPhone4 other than this it work like a charm ( we test what or competitor does )
