First Happy New Year…
Second this is the first time I post here… I’m looking for a help and I hope that you can help me to solve my issue…
I have iPhone 4, I accidentally updated to ios 4.2, I downloaded the ios 4.1 but I’m not able to restore it to ios 4.1 I’m getting this error message “The iPhone could not be updated. An unknown error occurred (3194)” I tried in DFU mode and edit the host file but still same error… any idea how to solve this error?

If you didn't save your SHSH/blobs to Cydia before the update to 4.2.x, sorry, Hope you like iOS 4.2.1.

hi, thanks for the reply, actually before the update to ios 4.2.1 my mobile was jailbreak with limera1n and Cydia was installed… will this help?

You had to check "Make my life easier" in Cydia, or used Tiny Umbrella to save your SHSH/blobs, while you still had iOS4.1.x.
