    can 4.1 upgrade to 5

    any news regarding unlock for 2.10.04 at iP4 ?

    Unfortunately the only iPhone 4 BB that can be unlocked w/o using the Gevey ultra is 1.59.00. You can, however, update to 5.1.1 using a custom Firmware and preserve your 2.10.04 BB.

    Another idea... your wireless carrier might Unlock your iPhone from their service if you're off contract & in good standing.

    Here's a good step by step tutorial from iClarified.com. iClarified - iPhone - How to Upgrade Your iPhone to iOS 5.1 Without Updating Your Baseband (Win) This shows them updating to iOS 5.1... the process is still the same for updating to 5.1.1.
